FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers for thoughtful parents about classes, meaning, reports, plans, payment, and safety.

Getting started

What if my child is shy or nervous online?

We start gently. The free assessment is calm and parent-friendly, and younger or shy children are placed in a rhythm that builds confidence before intensity.

Can classes fit around school and family routines?

Yes. We recommend a plan after the assessment, then agree on a realistic weekly rhythm. The goal is consistency without overwhelming your child.

Do you support complete beginners who cannot read Arabic yet?

Yes. Seedling is designed for warm beginnings: Arabic recognition, short surahs, adab, confidence, and simple meaning in a child-friendly pace.

Teaching & meaning

Do you teach tajweed or only meaning?

Both. Recitation and tajweed stay central, but every lesson also includes meaning so your child knows what they are reciting.

How do you make sure my child actually understands?

Meaning is a fixed part of every lesson, not an extra. Each class includes a meaning point and a reflection question, and your Sunday report shows you exactly what your child understood that week.

Will my child always have the same teacher?

Wherever possible, yes. One trusted teacher is one of our core promises - it lets the teacher truly know your child's level and build a relationship over time. Girls can be matched with a female teacher where needed.

Reports & progress

What if my child misses a lesson?

Tell us as early as possible. We help protect the learning rhythm and keep the Sunday report clear about what was completed and what needs review.

What is the Sunday report?

Every Sunday you receive a specific written report: attendance, ayahs covered, tajweed focus, the meaning discussed, your child's reflection, a next goal, and a personal sentence from the teacher - plus audio proof when available.

Plans & payment

Which plan is right for my child?

Most children fit Connection (ages 8-16). Seedling is for young beginners (5-8), and Hifz Path is by assessment approval for committed memorization students. After your free assessment we recommend the honest best fit.

How does payment and cancellation work?

You only pay after the free assessment and trial. Billing is monthly, you receive a clear receipt, and you can cancel anytime - our cancellation and refund policy is written and shared up front.

Safety

How are teachers vetted? Is it safe for my child?

Every teacher passes a scorecard covering English clarity, child warmth, meaning explanation, tajweed and safeguarding before receiving any paid student. Girls can be matched with a female teacher where needed. All contact stays on official channels, recording requires consent, and any concern is escalated to the founder.
